No matter what the season, a cloudless horizon guarantees a
hugely impressive sunrise or sunset. The light at the beginning and end of the
day bathes everything in a warm orange glow and yet again Sunnymead takes on a
different perspective. Catch the right conditions and the sun and rain will come
together to display the most vibrant rainbows. Back in June 2005 the moon's
orbit brought it closer to the Earth than it will ever be again in our lifetime.
With no manmade light pollution the full moon cast such strong shadows it gave
the impression of an eerily dull day!
